Keith DeLucia - Creative Strategic Execution

I started out as an electrician utilizing my mind and hands to work on homes and commercial buildings. That led me to get involved in programming first car wash systems, then smart homes, then web applications with hardware integration. Somehow woke up in Texas and DC running one of the most impactful patent litigations in US history. That gave me a $2B legal education! Along the way I was lucky enough to build cloud applications in multiple industries, 100MM downloads on the iOS store, aggregate Parkisons research, spend time in the halls of Congress, and with 4 of the last 5 Presidents, be part of building a world-class supercar, got to play early in the connected vehicle, IoT, and renewable energy space, and partnered with FC Barcelona in launching their first joint venture for their youth academy program.

Luckily I learned at an early age that things never work out the way you expect, and how well you are prepared for and solve problems, determines how successful you are or not. I have had some great mentors, including my Grandfather, who taught me to read as much as possible, ask the right questions of the right people, think creatively, and work smart but also outwork everyone.

  • Moved all hosting to multiple SAIC facilities for managed hosting and hot replication
  • eImageVault – Scan docs from scanners to remote repository
  • eCheckVault – Integrated to multiple check scanners to image check and extract data from check and convert to an electronic transaction
  • ePharmaVault - HIPAA compliant platform for research, medical records, and Dr authentication

Biometric Repository Solutions – Verify Me
  • Verify Me – Remote multi factor, biometric solutions for entry egress, time and attendance, financial transactions, password replacement, and threat detection
  • Multi Factor authentication – Verify Me’s platform provided Integration to multiple biometric devices with added features of RFID, card swipe, keypad, and AI
  • SAIC biometric solutions were used by the FBI AFIS system, and multiple other 3 letter USA agencies
  • Built Biometric voting system with bi partisan support using DMV for enrollment and secure web interface with Dell biometric mouse and drivers license verification
  • Successful CRADA with Admiral Lau from TSA for biometric identity validation of airport and airline personnel
  • DTC sat on various security panels with Tom Ridge, Head of The United States Homeland Defense
  • Worked with multiple government and security contractors on biometric threat level detection

  • Started with 4 people in 2002. Grew to 180 person development shop located in NY, and Chennai India. Primarily a PHP and Linux development shop with DOT NET, mobile, and animation teams

  • Oversaw 100+ patent, CIP, and Trademark assets.
  • Oversaw multiple jurisdiction commercial and patent litigation – Delaware Chancellery, NY Supreme, NY Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit Eastern Texas, 5th Circuit, Fed Circuit, , Federal Court of Canada, and The US Supreme Court.
  • 57 law suits involving $2BB in legal costs & licensing fees.
  • 300+ depositions, 2 Markman hearings with special masters, multiple trials in multiple venues, over 902 lawyers from one firm signed the protective order in one case alone.
  • Multi state, double, and triple track depositions.
  • 2002 - Set up 1st live stream depositions with Network Operating
    Center (NOC), to monitor and assist legal team.
  • Licensed top 51 banks in the USA on a per image royalty of .02+ per image.
  • Heavily involved in the Patent Reform Act (PRA), American Invents Act (AIA), and newly formed Inter Party Review (IPR) process and hearings.

Intellectual Property Experience Continued…

  • Licensed the country of Canada and its banks to all DTC Patents with agreement to never be party in any litigation against the country of Canada.
  • Successfully oversaw re-exam process and re-instatement of both DTC patents from the USPTO.
  • Managed continuation in part strategy and overall biometric IP strategy resulting in multiple new patents issued.
  • Acquired multiple patents from Bill Randle – CEO of BITS, Banking Industry Technology Standards.
  • The only case in the country to be put into the IPR after commercial success, successful re -exam review and re-issuance from the USPTO, 51 license agreements, jury verdict, and CBO scoring.

Political Consultant Experience

  • Worked with multiple New York State agencies and politicians on car wash and gas station environmental issues.
  • Oversaw DTC political consultant activity for 13 years.
  • Congressional Budget Office (CBO), put a multi billion dollar value on DTC’s patents.
  • Met and interacted with multiple bi partisan members of the House and Senate over 13 year period.
  • Defeated 4 Congressional acts to put DTC out of business.
  • Met with 4 of the last 5 Presidents on patent and small inventor issues.

  • Concept build a world class, formula one chassis, drive train, & connected vehicle technology to be able to stretch and widen to allow small run, custom builds of historic cars reimagined in the modern day.
  • Negotiated agreement with AC Bristol and Carol Shelby to bring back AC and Shelby together again for limited run of 100, 50th anniversary cars. Built in Detroit and NY,

Board Member VEEDIMS – A connected IoT Platform with 22 patents

  • One wire that handles power and data with multiple patented sensors, switches, controllers, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • First installation was using the VEEDIMS system to control all electric and electronic devices in a vehicle.
  • Negotiated micro license fee arrangement with OSI soft a real time database solution usually used for things like nuclear power plants and 6 figure license fees per asset.
  • Team was comprised of best in class automation engineers from IBM, Qualcomm, General Dynamics, Raytheon, SAIC, Pfizer, and others.
  • Built cloud platform with front end dashboard and proprietary algorithms and predictive analytics to make intelligent decisions.
  • Installations successful in Contender Boats, Benetti & Azimut Yachts, Seacor work boats, military patrol boats, first class airline cabin systems, commercial building management systems, and multiple renewable energy solutions.

2017/2020 - NY

President of FC Barcelona’s Joint venture American youth development academy – Barca America/Barca Academy NY.

  • Negotiated terms with CEO, CFO, and head of soccer Oscar Grau, Pancho Schroeder, Franc Pujol.
  • Built out strategy and launched 1st ever JV by FCB to bring the famous La Masia methodology and academy that developed players like Xavi, Messi, Iniesta, Pique, etc. to America.
  • Initial tryouts saw 4000+ boys and girls from 6-17 years old come from all over the country to try out.
  • Within first year multiple teams ranked in the top 25 in the country.
  • Built player platform for annual fees, communication, events, player and game statistics.
  • Contributed towards new financing plan for New Barca stadium consisting of physical, and digital assets.

  • YSN – Live stream with live chat and game analytics. Mobile and fixed camera live streaming of youth sports events. Built in live team chat and player profile for coaches to view, comment, follow, and message. Team store built into interface alonng with full back end analytic dashboard.
  • College Reels – College recruiting platform. Allows player and teams to put up their player profile consisting of videos, documents, grades, and statistics. Coaches can search via teams, locations, players names, keywords, & hashtags. They can view the profile, add to their watch list, send a message to the player, follow them, share the profile with other coaches. Players can view their statistics and messages.
  • Connected Athlete - HIPPA compliant platform for athletes to have one place to aggregate all of their on & off the field wearable sensor data, historic and live stream video, and medical records. Athletes can invite their doctors, physical therapists, trainers, and coaches to review all of the same information, watch live stream video of recovery or game sessions, and communicate together via live stream or messaging.
  • Battle Lounge - Battle Lounge is a cloud-based eSports platform that enables online, mobile, and physical eSports leagues and tournaments for competitive, casual and mobile gamers. It also enables physical event centers, social media influencers, athletes, game developers & anyone wanting to have their own eSports strategy and business.

One of the top baseball training facilities in the country. Core focus on player development having a philosophy and program which develops a symbiotic relationship between the mental, physical, and skill development of a player. Over 160, D1 and Major league players have trained at the facility.


DestinationKP.com – Designated by New York as the only youth sports and medical tourism destination in the state. Challenge to obtain zoning approval of an abandoned sand mine, and build a state of the art youth sports complex and medical facility on 42 acres in Kings Park, NY.

DKP is a 42 acre site with 170K square feet of medical and commercial space, 10 state of the art outdoor turf fields connected with 4k live stream, and bio mechanical analysis and connected athlete sensors. Largest indoor youth sports and event center on Long Island.
